Happy National Scrapbook Day
Ahhhh…nothing like a holiday to have dedicated to a great hobby for scrappy folks! What will you spend the day doing to celebrate? It’s simply ironic too that NSD comes before Mother’s Day? It’s sorta a double holiday for most mom’s, since mom’s are the scrappers of society. Today, after completing the required things of life, I plan to sit down and do some photo editing from a photo shoot and maybe get a card done for my mom…and Grandma, her birthday is Mother’s Day!! Love to hear from any readers…
I love stickers & vinyl
I have always loved stickers. I think it’s cool that I can make virtually anything a sticker now – thanks to Xyron, glue dots, tape squares and…vinyl! I have also always been a fan of sayings…ya know, the little words of wisdom usually spoken by famous people. Well, I have a few of my own, though I am not famous and one or two may have once been spoken by a famous somebody…I still use ‘em. I recently came up with my own word…purely an accident…a moment when I was actually being funny while creating masterpieces in my craft room. The word is “craftductive”. My scrap pal, Shelly defined it and I quickly snagged the domain….hey, never know – it could become as famous as “scraplifting”.
Well, to really spread the word, I cut out my own vinyl wall decal for the craft room…I love it!!!!! I’ll post a pic…soon!
Rainy Days=Craft Time
Kentucky weather changes a lot…when it changes to RAIN…I find that rather than getting depressed over it, I dive into some fond memories and scrapbook! What do you do on rainy days?

Latest Project…
Well…started on a long overdue project…and very happy with progress thus far. My private collection of autographed Reba (McEntire) CD’s have been neglected for a long time. Safely tucked in cases (most of them), others saw the elements of poorly matted frames…but they are receiving a new lease on life!!! I have pulled out some 12×12 frames…using scrapbook paper as my foundation…and, very proud of my work so far. Of course, with each one I get more creative in the display…but, in the end, they will adorn my walls and look amazing!!!!

A Few CRAFTDUCTIVE Thoughts
Ok..so, I am not very good at blogging. It’s definitely a skill which I have yet to master…but, I am not giving up.
I would like to share with you a few recent things that have occurred in my moments of being CRAFTDUCTIVE.
1) I FINALLY finished a page that featured a photo Christmas card from a friend. Turned out great;
2) I impulsively started a few room decor items for my daughters room…they turned out pretty amazing. I turned a .75 (goodwill find) cork board into a dual purpose cork board and white board…that .59 wipe-off paper from Big Lots was finally used!
3) I thinned out some supplies…made room for #4…by thinning things out, I found ways to repurpose some…others will be donated or sold.
4) FINALLY obtained a Yudu machine…not the BIG BOY…the card maker. I was so excited to order it. My review will come soon.
So….? Now, maybe all of this CRAFTDUCTIVITY is why I can’t get the blog going…wonder what I’ll get into next?

NEW Website…your opinion…
Good almost afternoon readers…if there are any. I have
launched a new website and would REALLY love to see it flourish. I
have ideas but don’t know if they will be worth the time or
effort…so I need your opinion. The website is
CRAFTDUCTIVE.COM …my idea is to make it a craft club type
site…where members will have exclusive access to
things…like…free fonts, digital scrapbooking files, layout
sketches and Lord knows what else. Figuring members can join for a
donation of $25 each per year and I will mail out goodies monthly
to my members. Maybe even start my own design team!?! Would there
be any takers? What else would be worth the membership to YOU? Let
me hear from YOU!!!!!

Getting mobile….2nd try
Ok…so, blogging takes more time than I realized. I really thought that with the Blackberry app, I would do better. I don’t have any readers…because the blog is stale…but, I HAVE been being Craaaafty!!
This is yet another attempt to get this blog to new heights…if nothing else, it will receive an overhaul and come 2011 (wow!!) I WILL begin mobile blogging more and get readers!!!!
