July 2007-current
I like to dabble in altering items too. My my latest project was “altered photo cubes”. I’ve been ‘working’ on them for almost a year now…off and on. It took me about 4 hours to do the first side then it was a breeze. I got three pages done, but can’t decide what to do on the other three sides. It’s sitting out for all to see and remind me to work on it. I used the 3×3 photo cubes (acquired at Michaels)…put them in a serving tray I got on clearance at Wal*Mart…it turns out to be a puzzle measuring about 13 1/4″ x 10″…
You will also see altered clipboards. I painted and added stickers and photos and the clip holds down a thin piece of clear acetate (bought at Lowes) just big enough to keep dust off the photos.
I really enjoy doing the paint cans. You can get empty cans at Home Depot/Lowes/Local Paint Stores or eBay and decorate them for a theme to give as gifts.

Mother & Daughter Scrapping
WOW!! It’s almost time for me to return to work…summer break is about over. My daughter and I FINALLY got to spend a DAY in the craft room…she motivated me!! She was bored and didn’t want to play with all the boys in the hot outdoors….so she pushed me to get my thinking cap on and work on a project or two. She whipped out a cover and 2 pages by nightfall. She LOVES rub-ons and finally got to use one of her ones her ‘nanny’ just bought her… “THANK YOU NANNY!!”…. enjoy the photos..there’s 2 of my photo book I am still working on… she’s since whipped out another page…so I’ll update photos soon..

OK..so it’s been a while…I have been a bit busy. My craft room was (still is really) a mess and while I decide how I want to design it and find the money to do it, I do a little bit of work here and there. I’m also working on a better blog site for my work. I find that I have things posted on all sorts of sites and I would like to condense this to just MY OWN site…afterall, I DO have my own domain…so for now; you will have to put up with a few external links to see some more of my work. I’ve managed to dig up a few old boards I’m a member of and find work there I had posted and forgotten…guess I’m not popular in the scrapbooking world YET!!
